The TyneMet KO Cup Finals were played today – Sunday 11 December – at Tyne Metropolitan College. In a series of tightly-fought, and occasionally frought games, the eventual winners emerged as:
Div 1 – Churchill Hornets beat Newcastle East Griffins [89:69]
Div 2 – Phoenix Knights beat Benfield Lions [74:66]
Div 3 – Morpeth Magic beat Phoenix Flames [76:67]
Div 4 – Phoenix Daze beat All Saints T-wrecks [64:54]
A huge thank-you is owed to the college for allowing us to use their facilities for the day, and to all of the officials who helped the day to run smoothly.
